More children helped by Nyakibale

We’re proud of Lovence, who did her primary level at Nyakibale Lower Deaf unit in 2019. She joined and completed vocational training at St.Bruno vocational school. We would love to help her and other children with a start-up kit and materials to continue their progress with support from donors.

Lovence completed the primary level at Nyakibale Lower Deaf unit.

Below is a photograph of a home visit at Katushabe Desire’s home, who now lives with her mother and stepfather. Upon our home visit in which, sensitization to the caregivers was done, Desire reported that the stepfather showed improvement in care and support. Our goal is to help children be in safe and loving families.

However, Desire noted that more visits, education, and sensitization to her caregivers on child protection should continue for the best results.

With your gift, Nyakibale Lower Deaf Unit can help more kids and sustain families by providing essential support for the most vulnerable.

We offer formal education and a favorable learning environment for children with disabilities or special needs, but many children struggle to access essential needs. Your gift helps children and families with food and critical support services so kids can attend school.
